I’m looking for a wiki that I can install in house or have hosted for less than $100 a month.
Any suggestions?
I’m looking for:
AD User support
WYSIWYG support
Security on pages

You could install Sharepoint and use their Wiki template. Free and if you don’t like it, then you can try something else. Integrates with AD too.

I’ve tried several wikis for intranet. And I discovered one important fact: users don’t like to update it. So it remained useless.

We’re going to use ours as a company handbook/manual/how to. We’ll see. I see a wiki as the best chance for this thing to work.

I’ll second that. I set up a Screwturn Wiki instance for a knowledgebase for the IT Helpdesk and I don’t think it’s been updated since I imported the old data from the prior knowledgebase.
