Visually, Google’s upcoming phones look the same, but the big hardware hope is the presence of Qi 2 wireless charging with magnetic attachment. The latest Pixel 10 rumor suggests Google is preparing first-party Qi 2 accessories called “Pixelsnap.”

Based on “marketing materials” for retailers, Android Authority reports that Google is working on a line of “Pixelsnap” accessories. (It curiously doesn’t use camel case.) There are no other details today from that source beyond the product names.
- “Pixelsnap Charger”: This could be a magnetic charging puck like what Apple offers for the iPhone. According to trade listings, this accessory is codenamed “STN4” with Qi 2.2 and Magnetic Power Profile (MPP) support.
- “Pixelsnap Ring Stand”: “Ring” in the name is rather descriptive, but this might just be a stand to position your phone.
- “Pixelsnap Charger with Stand”: An accessory that possibly combines the two. It’s unclear if this will end up being a Pixel Stand successor.

“Snap” certainly implies magnets, while “Ring” suggests the general circular design we’re expecting. The trade listings (shown below) point to one of the stands being available in Mist (white) and Rock Candy (black).
