Here’s another look at Galaxy Watch 8, Watch 8 Classic, and ‘Watch Ultra (2025)’

We’re just a few short weeks away from Samsung’s next big Galaxy launch, with the Galaxy Watch 8 series in tow, and now we’re getting both a better image of what these new smartwatches look like, and what the lineup as a whole really entails.

Leaks of the Galaxy Watch 8 series have made it clear that Samsung has a new design language in mind, as well as three possible new releases. Now, the infamous Evan Blass is adding more details.

As a part of his newsletter, Blass shared three images to show off the design of Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and a third smartwatch called “Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025).” We’ve seen these images before, but the latest versions are a bit higher in resolution, offering a better look at the new designs.

More importantly, this is the first time we’re hearing this “Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025)” branding. As of last week, it was clear that a new Ultra smartwatch was in the works, but it was unclear if it was a generational refresh or simply a new colorway of the 2024 release. It’s unclear what this new 2025 update for the Galaxy Watch Ultra will bring to the table beyond the nice blue color, but it’s certainly something to look forward to, and also the first time Samsung has had three smartwatches in its core lineup like this.

Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy Watch 8 series in July alongside its new foldables. These new smartwatches will be running One UI 8 Watch out of the box, an update Samsung has just released in beta this week.
