The OnePlus 15 might launch with a slightly different camera array, and one that doesn’t bear the famous Hasselblad branding.

New leaks have begun surfacing regarding OnePlus’ upcoming device, thanks to Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station. The OnePlus 15 will reportedly be powered by the SM8850 SoC, which has been tied to the Snapdragon Elite Gen 2.

Beyond that, there are some key details about the OnePlus 15’s camera systems, including plans the company has for its image partner, Hasselblad. The leak indicates that the OnePlus 15 will carry a triple camera setup with 50MP lenses and a periscope option. This is similar to the OnePus 13 that also carries a triple-50MP setup.
Where it veers off is in the design language. We’re used to seeing large, round camera arrays from OnePlus. According to the leak, the OnePlus 15 will not carry a round camera bump. There are no details on the exact shape, but the shift is big on its own. OnePlus could begin introducing the flagship lineup to a more square bump, like on the 13T. That’s just a possibility, of course.
The camera bump will not feature the familiar Hasselblad branding, either. OnePlus has been using the brand’s name on its camera setups since 2021. The partnership is evident in software, so it’s likely the OnePlus 15 will not incorporate Hasselblad’s image grading tools. What that means for post-processing is unknown. It could have little effect.
It’s likely OnePlus will launch the 15 series late in the year, with a US launch in the beginning of next year.
