Waymo One expanding in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and Los Angeles

Waymo One is expanding in California across its three existing service areas: San Francisco Bay Area, Silicon Valley, and Los Angeles.

In the San Francisco Bay Area, Waymo One is expanding to Brisbane, South SF, San Bruno, Millbrae, and Burlingame. This new service area is right next to the airport and rolling out starting today. (The dream is being able to go from downtown SF to SFO in an autonomous ride.)

Meanwhile, Silicon Valley coverage will include more of Palo Alto and Menlo Park.

In Los Angeles, Waymo One is coming to Playa del Rey, Ladera Heights, Echo Park, Silver Lake, and the “entirety of Sunset Blvd.” This is the second LA expansion this year, with Waymo touting how you can go “directly from Mid-City to Inglewood and Westchester via La Cienega and La Brea.” In all, Waymo will serve over 120 square miles of LA County.
