Circle to Search rolling out Song Search history on Android

After AI Mode and gaming updates, Google is now adding Song Search history to Circle to Search on Android.

After tapping the music icon in the Circle to Search bar, there’s a new history/clock icon in the top-right corner. That opens the “Recent song searches” page with a grid of cover art that notes the song, artist, and date. Clicking on one opens a Google Search results page for the track.

You get 10 results grouped by month, with “Show full history” at the bottom taking you to the existing My Activity page that lacks any artwork. Previously, this was the only history you had available.

It also appears in the corner when using the “Song Search” app/homescreen shortcut. Google first rolled out this Song Search history shortcut to iOS in February.

We’re now seeing Song Search history in Circle to Search roll out to Android in the beta and stable channels with version 16.27 of the Google app. Try Force stopping from the App info if you’re not seeing it yet.
