Samsung Galaxy A56 now available in the US for $499 with 6 years of updates

Months after its siblings, the Galaxy A56 is finally going on sale in the US today, Samsung says, though you might still need to wait a little bit.

The Galaxy A56 was announced early this year as a $499 top-tier device in Samsung’s mid-range lineup. It launched internationally in late March, but Samsung was pretty vague about its US debut.

Now that day has finally arrived.

Samsung has confirmed that, starting today, Galaxy A56 is available in the US. The device is available from Samsung directly, as well as through both Amazon and Best Buy. From both retailers you’ll get a $50 gift card and the device ships immediately. Samsung’s website offers up to $150 in trade-in credits.

It also has 128GB of storage, a 5,000 mAh battery, and 45W charging. Under the hood, it features Exynos 1580 paired with 6GB of RAM.

Colors include Graphite, “Lightgray,” and Amazon-exclusive Olive.
