Purchased the Eufy S11 with two batteries 6 weeks ago. This was our 4th cordless vac, but initial try with a Eufy. The Eufy was easy to make ready. I attached the storage rack to the wall in replacement of our previous vac. At first I thought I would be disappointed in having to plug in the battery to the charger line instead of being able to just slip the unit into the wall storage like my previous unit. Our actual manner of use has made this more of a convenience issue than a concern. We purchased the package with the second battery. We vacuum 2800 sq. ft. that is 50/50 carpet-rugs/hardwood. Our other units have always had a difficult time in getting the job completed in a single charge. One suggestion for Eufy would be to include an additional storage caddy for the second battery. I made one and attached it just below the storage caddy for the primary unit. This makes it quite convenient to move the charge cord from primary to the secondary battery. Battery Life: I've not measured the actual minutes of battery life because my speed usage varies every time I vacuum. I'm able to clean the hardwoods quite easily on the medium setting and utilize the high setting for our rugs and carpets, although oftentimes the medium setting is capable of cleaning the rugs. To switch to the secondary battery is simply a plug and go. I usually get 3/4 through a deep clean and have never run out of power with the second battery. When done, I typically remove the cannister from the power unit and twist the filter top and the lint, pet hair and dirt falls into the trash bin. There is also a flip lid like many other units but like the other units I found I was having to coax the lint and pet hair out into the trash bin. It only takes a few more seconds to remove and replace the cannister. It is also much easier to just deal with the collection cannister over the trash than the entire unit.
Pros: Second battery option, utilize the carpet roller for both carpet and hardwoods - no scarring or scratches and does an awesome job on the hard surfaces, portable charge cable for 2 battery operation, LED light panel (This is probably my favorite amenity. Allows me to see, dust, lint and pet hair that I never saw with my previous units) and ability to remove collection cannister for dirt removal
Cons: One of the side glide strips has started to wear like mentioned in other reviews, lack of a storage caddy for the second battery
Overall we couldn't be happier with our Eufy vacuum and feel we got a quality unit at reasonable cost. Would definitely recommend as a replacement of other high end competitors.
