LEGO has been busy with its summer reveals, and today we’re getting the veil lifted off the upcoming 21359 Italian Riviera set that will be joining the Ideas theme this August. The LEGO Group is bringing a gorgeous new way to enjoy an Italian summer without shelling out the money to head there in person – and what’s more, there’s even an included GWP set accompanying it for Insiders for a limited window once it launches. Head below to learn more about this new build and check out the photos we have collected showing off its idyllic atmosphere.

We’re getting quite the picturesque take on the Italian coast with LEGO’s new Ideas 21359 Italian Riviera set, and it looks as inviting as the real place. It comes based on the fan design by Alex Sahli (aka Galaxy333), expanding and sharpening the LEGO Ideas submission into a design that is sure to delight builders. It stacks up to 3,251 pieces, with it standing at 9 inches tall, 13 inches wide, and 12 inches deep once all is done and built.

You’ll assemble a coastal fishing village that is made up by three colorful buildings that are iconic to the region, complete with detailed interiors and 10 minifigures. These 10 pedestrians breathe further life into the already vibrant landscape, with examples like a gelato store owner, a fish vendor, a pasta making nonna, and much more. As an Italian, it fills my heart with joy to see the warm and sunny Mediterranean atmosphere being captured so stunningly.

While it’s not getting any preorder openings ahead of its release, folks can pick up the 21359 Italian Riviera set starting on August 7, 2025 for Insiders, or wait until the August 10, 2025 general release – with it carrying a $299.99 price tag. As I previously mentioned, there’s also a GWP accompanying this set for Insider purchases between August 7 to 13, giving you a Mediterranean Scene for free. LEGO Insiders also have the option to redeem 1,750 points to score an exclusive themed A5 dotted notebook that can double as a travel journal.
