Secure, dual purpose unit that replaced an insecure, single purpose function....and would periodically drop phones. I love Satechi gear and this is no exception. Only thing I really wish is that the clamping parts had a small lip on them to catch the filter vein like my Mous MagSafe® Compatible Car Vent Mount does - that thing is absolutely bullet proof! We live down miles of unpaved country roads that turn washboard quickly, and never once has the Mous loosened up. I'll report back on the Satechi if anything changes but so far we love it.

This product's appearance is the only thing it has going for it, as its magnetic attraction is quite weak. In my video, you can see a small, reliable mount on my vehicle fan rack that holds my cellphone securely, especially when I need to charge it and use the map at the same time. The smaller mount is great—it keeps the phone in place far better than this Satachi Qi2 fancy product. I don't recommend it at all.
