As part of its Black Friday in July event, Best Buy is offering the Heybike Mars 2.0 750W Fat Tire Folding e-bike at $899.99 shipped in four colorways. Usually going for $1,499 at full price, the deal here is the second-best we have tracked over the years, with it coming in $99 under Heybike’s current sale pricing (which does get the benefit of a free front and rear basket bundle + the option to upgrade to a 1,000W motor) and only $1 above the all-time low we last spotted during the brand’s direct Memorial Day Sale.
Heybike’s Mars 2.0 e-bike doesn’t offer the fancy bells and whistles like the brand’s higher-end models, but does give you solid performance while retaining a budget-friendly price – especially this close to the all-time low. Its combination 600Wh battery and 750W rear hub motor pair together to provide up to 45 miles of pedal-assisted support (five levels) at top speeds of 20 or 28 MPH (depending on your state’s laws). The folding frame is a space-saving design that will come as a blessing to many folks, while the 4-inch puncture-resistant fat tires (with fenders over each) let you ride more carefree while preventing the fun from prematurely ending due to flats.
Among its other features, you’ll also be getting a Shimano 7-speed derailleur, an integrated cargo rack, an LED headlight and taillight, and an LED screen for performance data and setting adjustments. If you want to upgrade to the 1,000W motor for $199 more direct from Heybike, you’ll also get hydraulic disc brakes to ensure stopping power at those higher speeds, as well as a max speed increase up to 32 MPH while also providing more power for inclines, increased load capacity, and more.
