PS  Script to delete recycle bin on network cp,[iters

Hello. Got thrown into some Powershell work this week and it’s been a long time since I’ve been invovled in this at all. Looking for some help on some PS scripting. I’m taking over a closed network in a room with 25 machines talking to a single server. I’d like to get to run a PS to empty the recycle bins, on the machines (each of which only have one profile, but could read the machine names from a csv file) then clean out all data from the profiles, similar to delprof2. Now I have delprof2 already working on the profiles, so even though I’d like to combine them, a single PS to delete the recycle bins first would be great. I’ve googled and tried about a dozen different scripts and none are working. The laptops all run windows 10. Thanks for your assistance. I’m about 10 hours into this and not getting any closer to a solution.appreciate the help.

The boss’s prefer this not be a logoff script, and want to be able to run it from the server machine to hit the laptops prior to running the delprof2 set…Would this still work for that functon? Say all the laptops are on now, then I run this script, is it still going to delete all the recycle bins on each laptop, or do I have to log out of each first?

Can you just tried the ‘clear-recyclebin’ cmdlet?

or you could use psexec and

rd /s c:\$Recycle.Bin

Each machine name returns the “Unable to remote access '$computer”. Thanks for the help on this, I kinda think it’s something in windows 10 that’s shutting this down. \

Sounds like PSRemoting is not turned on.
