As we mentioned at the meeting last night, we are looking to have another sponsored meeting in June (probably mid to late June) and will post as soon as we have a firm date.
But we also discussed the possibility of having an unsponsored meeting (maybe in someone’s office conference room, bring your own food, etc.) to just talk about the Spiceworks application. Most folks seemed to be interested in learning about deploying remote collectors and getting some general tips about how to make the most of using Spiceworks.
We need to ask for your help in finding a venue. If you can offer up an office space in July or August for a meeting (or maybe even later in the year), please let either me or Brian Watson know.
And if you’re interested in giving a presentation at a future Spicecorps meeting (maybe 20-30 minutes max), please let us know. Some of the best presentations we have had were the ones done by members of the SpiceCorps (think Paul Mai’s presentation on wireless deployment with Ubiquiti and Doug Symes’ presentation on his company’s move to AWS).

No Vendor, just Spiceheads and their SO if they feel like it and do Dinner and Games at some place like D&B?
That would absolutely work. I figured we needed to account for some kind of presentation space though.
