For example, Spiceworks (4.6) is saying that MS project is installed on 18 computers when in reality it’s only installed on 10. Obviously Spiceworks is picking up on any computer that used to have an MS project installation.

I’ve looked through the registry keys and cannot find anything related to MS project. Looking through previous posts, I’ve changed settings in the ‘Network Scan’ (In the ‘Additional Settings’). I haven’t found a resolution yet…

If there is a way to run a report of only current installations it will definitely make my life a lot easier, so any ideas would be appreciated!

Normally i would suggest going through the registry and checking the uninstaller lists. sounds like you already did that.

A nice bit to add into the reportable data would be WHERE spice works found the installation (i.e. files, reg keys, etc)

s for software in the registry [HKLM\software]. Unfortunally, MS software doesn`t clean the registry after uninstall.

So you need to clean up the registry at all affected machines.
