Is there any way to force a recheck of a device which was previously offline?

The only current way is to remove the device from the monitor and re-add. 1.5x has several bugs that often prevent devices that went down re-appearing as online. A new fix release is due soon, see: Network Monitor Project Status

I have found that if there is a device that has an alert that won’t clear, you can open the monitor settings for that device and toggle the notification switch off for the alarm that is stuck and wait for a few seconds and then toggle it back on.

I have had to do this for several machines because the app sometimes hangs I think because of the server I have it running on. Needless to say it works when you toggle the notifications on and off. No re add necessary.
