I have had Spiceworks installed for a couple of years now and everything was running fine. I upgraded to Spiceworks Ver 5.3.75925 and once I did my user portal started having a security certificate issue. When I look it is now expired. I want to switch from using a https site to a http site.

Has anyone every tried this? Can I do it?

Go to settings - helpdesk settings. About halfway down the page you will find optional settings. Requiring HTTPS is a checkbox option there.

{"@type":"Person
[{"@type":"Answer

wouldn’t updating your cert be a better solution rather than losing your security?

{"@type":"Person
molan
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/molan"}},{"@type":"Answer
