Spiceworks agent icon won't upload?

FINALLY getting around to playing with the spiceworks agent on test machines, but can’t get the interface to actually SAVE the icon… leave the screen, comes back, says no icon.

is there a max icon size? tried from edge, firefox, and even on the actual server. no change.

advise?

Are you using the legacy Spiceworks Desktop App, or the Cloud Inventory agent?

I’m using the Spiceworks Server installation on our of our servers, version 7.5.00107

nothing in spam but haven’t officially sent in the issue to Spiceworks, assumed it was first user error!

The Spiceworks Desktop app (what you’re using) is no longer being developed and will be EOL’d in 3 months.

So - before you get too far into getting agents deployed, I just want to make sure that path makes sense for you.

Have you checked out the Cloud Inventory?

well damn that sucks, thanks for the input! no haven’t looked at the cloud tool, but we have it housed on internal server, so have to do additional research now before we can even go that route.
