Hello Spice Family!
My (medium non-profit) company is currently using Moodle for the LMS, but I’m interested in alternatives. Our staff must complete annual training beyond the usual sexual harassment and toxic work environment standards in order to comply with Department of State requirements. What are you using in your business? How difficult was it to deploy or switch over for new users? How cost effective is the platform? What kind of support is offered?
Thanks in advance!

Take a look at Canvas or Blackboard. Canvas is generally considered to be user friendly with a nice clean interface. Deployment can vary but it’s typically offers a straightforward setup process. It’s price is don per user and the specific services you use. They also have good support.

Blackboard would be a lot more robust than canvas and has a good range of features, this does make it a little more difficult to deploy though. It would also be on the pricier side, but the extra features can make up for this and there support is top quality.

Google classroom is also a one of LSM software.

I don’t have much info for you other than what we use. We use Luma - https://enuggetlearning.com/

It seems to meet my companies needs, which is mostly a place to hold policies (that one must sign/agree to) as well as assign periodical trainings.

We use Schoology as our LMS. Kind of has a FaceBook feel to its user experience. That being said, if you are a non-profit, like @spiceuser-sgpg mentioned, Google Classroom is an option for you as there is a Google Workspace for Nonprofits at no cost and Classroom is included with that.

TopSchool by Navneet toptech is also good. It’s easy to use, works well for schools, and covers everything needed for teaching and learning.
