I got a call from our helpdesk guys this afternoon, stating Spiceworks was down. all the get is " file not found " when they went t the website

I logged intot the server and it was trying to do an update? no one was logged in but it was running. It seems to take a very long time on Backing up data ( well over an hour ) then it comes up saying backup failed trying again. It is trying to back up to a local disk on the server. lots of space. just won’t complete :frowning:

we are dead in the water without it. currently we have about 230 open tickets. we average 50 tickets inputted a day!!

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

it seems to backup fully but get s the message " A problem occured during the database update, retrying "

support@spiceworks.com

It might have done an auto-update. I have received a warning in Spiceworks before but didn’t know if it did it automatically. Talk to their support. They will be of more help.
