$userObject.employeeID  is not working

It does not retrieve the employeeID, Although employee ID is assigned in the AD.

$userOPbject is a variable, I’m guessing your holding the user information in that variable. employeeID is a string so we would need to see more of the script to help. When posting code please use the “insert code” feature.

If you view the employeeID field in AD, is the Employee ID value stored there? Or in the employeeNumber?

I also would be curious as JitenSh asked. how are you attempting to pull the employeeID, LDAP, .NET, Powershell, etc?

Assuming you use Get-AdUser. List attributes like Employ* to find what attribute that holds the value you are looking for.

Get-ADUser username -Properties * | Select "Employ*"
