There are several threads ongoing about SW’s inability to fog a mirror.

There is basically no further development of the desktop product. All focus is on the cloud product. What they are looking into doing however is allowing you to run the cloud code locally so that you have your own private version.

{"@type":"Person
PatrickFarrell
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/PatrickFarrell"}},{"@type":"Answer

I’ve heard about this. I’m curious if the inventory module will still have scanning capabilities to discover devices that can’t have an agent. I’ve asked in the cloud scanner forum but didn’t get a response.

{"@type":"Person
adamkauffman
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/adamkauffman"}},{"@type":"Answer

I wish they would open source the old Inventory product.
