User Configuration

You can use User Configuration in Group Policy to set policies that apply to users, regardless of which computer they log on to.

User Configuration typically contains subitems for Software Settings, Windows Settings, and Administrative Templates, but because you can add or remove extensions from Group Policy Object Editor, the exact set of subitems that you see might be different. For more information about these subitems, see Software Settings, Windows Settings, and Administrative Templates.
