Tumblr Install Guide

StatCounter provides free customisable hit counters, visitor tracking, web analytics and website stats for Tumblr.

Tumblr

  1. Sign up for a free account at StatCounter to get your StatCounter code.

    The rest of these instructions are repeated when you get the StatCounter code sign up now!
  2. Log into your Tumblr account
  3. Click on your site name at the top
  4. Click the "Customize appearance" link in the right hand menu under your site name
  5. Click the "Edit html" link on the left hand side
  6. Scroll down to the end of the code
  7. Click in the code box with the mouse
  8. Hold the down arrow key on the keyboard for several seconds, the cursor may go off the screen
  9. Press enter several times until the

code comes up at the bottom

  • Paste the tracking code just before the code
  • Click Update Preview at the top
  • Click Save at the top
  • Click Close at the top

    • The StatCounter code should now be active on your Tumblr account.
