Third graders at East Canton Elementary recently wrapped up an exciting SmArts residency with teaching artist Patrick Masalko, who partnered with the school's science teachers to bring life cycles to life—through music!
SmARTs is ArtsinStark’s arts education program, bringing high-quality visual and performing arts experiences to students across Stark County—especially those with limited access. Through in-school and after-school programming, SmARTs uses the arts to spark creativity, learning, and confidence.
Get ready to be inspired! On Saturday, July 19 from 10 AM to 2 PM, the very first Kids' Art Mart will take over ArtsinStark Park in downtown Canton.
Every Friday morning, the Edward Peel Coleman Community Center in Southeast Canton fills with laughter, music, and storytelling as families gather for Sing, Play, Grow, a joyful early childhood enrichment program led by the local arts nonprofit Sing Stark.
Funds from our annual campaign ensure the arts remain accessible, vibrant, and a driving force for economic growth, cultural enrichment, and community well-being. Join us in keeping the arts thriving in Stark County!
