PFL welterweight Sarek Shields is ready for whoever following his victory over Joseph Luciano at the PFL World Tournament Semis in Nashville on Thursday.

That whoever just happened to be Kendly St. Louis. St. Louis was hoping for a matchup wit the winner of Shields-Luciano which wasn’t part of the tournament.

“If PFL would have me back I’d love to come back here and put on a performance,” Shields told Cageside Press at his post-fight scrum.
“Hopefully one that the boss man wouldn’t be too ashamed of. Again it’s out of my hands. I did the best that I could and I’m just going to run with it.”
Shields (7-2) defeated Luciano by decision at the PFL World Tournament Semis in Nashville. It was his first fight in the PFL cage and one he hopes to experience again.
“It felt amazing. I’m really blessed to be here, grateful for the opportunity, and I know I hope they give me another opportunity. This was definitely not my best performance, but few things leading up to the fight, nerves, the biggest stage of my career,” he said.
“Kind of went back to my basics even though I’ve been working on so much more. I feel great.”
