Changes for 2025

[edit]

In May 2025, the PGA Tour announced updates to the format of the season-ending Tour Championship. Beginning this year, starting strokes, first introduced for the 2018–19 season, will be eliminated, with the tournament now being played as a regular 72-hole stroke-play event, with all players starting the tournament at even par.[1]
