Rounding out the field were Wanda Sykes from The New Adventures of Old Christine and Merritt Wever from Nurse Jackie. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's Charlie Day, who scores laughs as dim-witted Charlie Kelly, snagged 30.9 percent of the reader vote to defeat The Big Bang Theory's Kunal Nayyar (25.6 percent) and Modern Family's Rico Rodriguez (21.8 percent). They were followed by Danny Pudi (Community) and Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation). Runner-up Portia de Rossi (Better Off Ted) followed with 21.4 percent; Drop Dead Diva's Brooke Elliott, Desperate Housewives' Eva Longoria Parker, and Party Down's Lizzy Caplan trailed. O'Neill pulled off the narrowest win in this year's EWwys: His 31.6 percent of the vote barely edged out Chuck's Zachary Levi (30.3 percent) and Community's Joel McHale (25.3 percent). Completing the order of finish were Party Down's Adam Scott and United States of Tara's John Corbett. The closest finisher was Community (15.8 percent), followed by Cougar Town, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Parks and Recreation, and Ugly Betty. 6 Mike Yarish/Fox Best Supporting Actress in a DramaLISA EDELSTEIN, HOUSEHere's a prescription for the Emmys: Next time consider a nomination for House star Lisa Edelstein, who annihilated her EWwy competition with 59.8 percent of the vote. Her closest competitor? Dexter's Jennifer Carpenter, with 17.4 percent, followed by Parenthood's Mae Whitman, True Blood's Michelle Forbes, and Melrose Place's Katie Cassidy. Runner-up Nestor Carbonell (Lost) had 24.1 percent. Rounding out the field were Zach Gilford (Friday Night Lights), Ryan Kwanten (True Blood), and Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad). Yes, folks, Bones star Emily Deschanel has won her second consecutive EWwy for Best Actress in a Drama, this year destroying the competition with 56.2 percent of the vote. Katey Sagal from Sons of Anarchy was a clear runner-up, with 27.6 percent, and was followed home by Regina King (Southland), Anna Gunn (Breaking Bad), and Khandi Alexander (Treme). Ackles drew 32.7 percent of the vote, enough to beat out last year's champ, Lost's Josh Holloway, who had 23.7 percent. The order of finish was completed by Thomas Gibson (Criminal Minds), Ian Somerhalder (The Vampire Diaries), and Timothy Olyphant (Justified). 10 Michael Courtney/Fox Best Drama SeriesFRINGEEWwy voters spread the love in 2010, distributing the 10 awards among eight different series.
