Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW)

The SAW is a lightweight combat machine gun that forms the basis of firepower for the fire team. The gunner has the option of using 30-round M16 magazines or pre-loaded 200-round plastic ammunition drums that can be linked together. The SAW engages point targets out to 800 meters and fires the improved NATO standard 5.56mm cartridge.
