WWE and mun2 received an “EMMA” award (Excellence in Multi-Cultural Marketing Award) for the “Ultimate Quinceañera” Sweepstakes. The two organizations were recognized at the 22nd Annual NAMIC Conference in New York City for the highly successful sweepstakes launched in January 2008 that generated almost 6,000 unique entries and doubled the ratings of mun2 as compared to the previous month. On March 8, 2008 the prize was awarded, which included appearances by WWE Superstars Carlito and Melina.

During WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio’s media tour of China, a magnitude 7.9 earthquake devastated the nation’s southwestern Sichuan province Monday afternoon, accumulating a death toll of more than 8,500. Mysterio will be continuing on his media tour. He and his wife will be flying to Shenzhen, China, Tuesday, for a press conference and media event. Following those appearances, the two will travel to Guangzhou, China, Thursday and Friday, where he will visit a rehabilitation center for disabled children.
