The Montgomery G.I. Bill is the primary college funding option available to Marines who are pursuing a degree.

If you are interested in this program, sign up must be done at the time of enlistment. $100 per month is then deducted from your pay for a year. The Montgomery G.I. Bill will provide approximately $1,000 a month for tuition and classes can be taken at colleges, technical schools or vocational programs at an undergraduate or graduate level. Participants in the program can receive over $37,000 and funding can be used up to 10 years after honorable discharge.
