Advanced Degree Program

Every year, the Marine Corps selects qualified officers to participate in Advanced Degree Programs. Participation in this program is limited to commissioned officers who already possess a college degree and are in the grade of first lieutenant through lieutenant colonel. Selected officers may attend the accredited school of their choice and pursue study in such areas as space systems operations, defense systems analysis, management, public relations, computer science, electronic engineering, or telecommunications management. Under the Advanced Degree Program (ADP), the Marine Corps partially funds expenses for the cost of a master's degree.
