"Semper Fidelis." It means Always Faithful.Faithful to our nation, to each other, to the cause we serve.

Our Nation's Flag

Since 1775, Marines have been protecting the American Flag. It is our flag that represents freedom, democracy, and the American way. Marines are proud to be a part of this legacy.

Semper Fidelis

Nowhere is the phrase "Semper Fi" more meaningful than when the American flag gives it context. For as long as our flag has flown, Marines have been faithful to the defense of everything it stands for.

Colors Ceremony

No matter where we are, Marine tradition calls for the "Colors Ceremony" at the end of each day. As our flag is reverently lowered, we are reminded of how much has been done in defense of freedom, and of how much is still to be done.

Combat Service Support

Combat Service Support is essential to Marine Corps success, providing the Marines on the frontlines with the supplies and equipment needed to win battles. More Marines serve in this range of occupational specialties than any other.

Aviation Support

Marine Corps aviation is more than the pilots who fly our planes. It takes hundreds of Marines to fix and maintain the sophisticated, combat aircraft which make up a squadron. Without these aviation support Marines, flight operations would not be possible.

Seeing Into The Night

The setting sun marks the end of the day, but not the end of the Marine Corps obligation to our nation. As night falls, the battlefield landscape will change to one of darkness, but Marines will have the right equipment to confront whatever comes their way.

Marines at the Edge of Freedom

All over the world, United States Marines are privileged to have daily reminders of the importance of their contribution to our freedoms. As the sun sets, our flag is lowered, and our freedoms are safe because Marines helped keep them that way.
