April 12, 2009 (Thunder Bay, ON) — The Thunder Bay Chill is pleased to announce the return of five starters for the 2009 season. Expected to return to defend the 2008 PDL Championship title are captains Wilson Neto and Anthony Putrus. Also confirming their return is star local keeper Stephen Paterson, Marcos Silva and Nolan Intermoia. All players are pending USL and CSA approval.

Valente has appeared in over 100 Chill games in his 9 year history with over 9,000 playing minutes for a franchise record.

February 23, 2009 (Ottawa, Ontario) - The Ottawa Fury Soccer Club in cooperation with the Thunder Bay Chill, Toronto Lynx and Forest City (FC) London are pleased to announce the inaugural Victoria Challenge Cup, which will be held in Ottawa on the May 15-17 weekend.
