Naoya was born on March 31 in 1968 in Suginami,
Tokyo,
Japan. He started his Judo practice during school years.

and living legend. For the most important victories in long 13 years of
international Judo competitions, let’s mention only gold medals: 1987 - World Championships Essen, 1988 - World University Championships Tbilisi, 1989 - World Championships Belgrade, 1990 - Jigoro
Kano Cup Tokyo, 1991 - World Championships Barcelona, 1996 - Tournoi de Paris
and All Japan Judo Championships. And one important silver
medal – in 2002 at Olympic Games Barcelona. Naoya holds several medal scoring
records.
In his history, he was also able to devote some time to practice
Wrestling and later on he directed himself to the mixed martial arts arenas. The
list of MMA fights of Mr. Hustle is not that long, but the win/loss statistics
are just great.
