2/27/2012:
Y'know, I'm a pretty even-tempered guy. Right? Wink Vavasseur is cool under pressure. That's a thing people say; everybody knows
that. I'm a cucumber.
But this past weekend, it was like everyone forgot who directs the fun here at CHIKARA. The inmates were running the asylum. What
would my old man have said if he saw the things that went down on my watch? This is an outrage. Unacceptable.
When the Board of Directors brought me in to evaluate the job Dieter VonSteigerwalt was doing, I went back to the start of the
whole BDK business. I reviewed it from the very start. I did my homework before I started to reach out to the people, the common
folk like you, to get their opinions. I wanted to see the objective truth before anyone inserted their subjectivity into it. Y'know,
before you got your chocolate in my peanut butter, so to speak.

And what was in front of my eyes and ears made my jaw drop. I saw men in crazy white suits breaking through the fencing and
climbing into the ring while everyone stood and stared. One of them spoke on the microphone and no one thought to cut off his sound.
Not one person said to himself, "Hey, maybe I should just flip this switch and cut off that microphone." Then, a huge gang fight broke
out and someone switched off the lights. The lights! Was the same guy running the lighting board and the audio? Unbelievable.
What I saw yesterday reminded me a bit too much of that chaos: a bunch of guys in crazy masks running amok with no one stopping
them. Is that acceptable in professional wrestling? Well, I'll tell you this much, I know it's not acceptable in racquetball.
It's not acceptable in mixed doubles tennis, and I'm certain it's not acceptable in a rink-a-dink kiddie soccer
league where, instead of soccer nets, they just use those miniature orange cones. So, why would it be acceptable in a sport
with the word PROFESSIONAL right there in its name?! Frankly, I'm at a loss for words.
Listen closely: Ol' Wink is a man of action. That much you can count on. This sort of thing will not happen again on my watch.
