8/23/2011:
Ya know, it's funny how things in life seem to come full circle. It was roughly one year ago that I made my
first CHIKARA appearance, at Young Lions Cup VIII. I was "hand-picked" by the BDK, since they thought that, because
of my disability, it would be an easy task to eliminate me from the tournament. On that night,
though I was on the losing end of the match, I won over the CHIKARA fans, and the BDK found out that "The
Handicapped Hero" does not go down without a fight.
Now, one year later, I get another shot. On August 27th, in Easton, PA, I will be a participant in Young Lions
Cup IX, and I am on a mission to win it all. In a 4-Way Eliminator, I will battle three other men with the same
intentions...two of which I have heard a lot about, and one whose tactics I know all too well.
First, there is Chase Owens. Here's a guy whos been battling all throughout the NWA, and winning championships
along the way. Recently, he managed to go toe-to-toe with the double-tough
Davey Richards. Chase, I respect what you've done thus far, but rest assured, I'm not going to take it easy on you.

Next, we have Wil Maximo. I have studied the S.A.T. over the years, and knowing that you have trained with
them, I know you soaked in a lot of valuable knowledge. I watched some of your matches, including the one
from this year's King of Trios tournament. While I can't argue that you have skill, I am not too crazy about your
attitude.
You may have passed the test to become an S.A.T., but you bring that attitude to YLC, and you will be leaving with
a loss, and a failing grade.
Finally, there is Jakob Hammermeier. I didn't forget the way you disrespected me the weekend of YLC VIII, and I
most certainly didn't forget the dirty deeds you tried to pull last month, in our match at Chikarsaurus Rex.
However, it might have slipped your mind that I did score the victory over you in that contest. Jakob, though
the circumstances may be different this time around, plain and simple, I beat you once, and I can beat you again
on my own.
With all that said, the time for talking is over. This last month has been the greatest in my career. I know
I can keep winning. I have so much momentum, and I intend on riding it all the way to Young Lions Cup victory.
