These crawls are part of an effort to archive pages as they are created and archive the pages that they refer to. That way, as the pages that are referenced are changed or taken from the web, a link to the version that was live when the page was written will be preserved.
Then the Internet Archive hopes that references to these archived pages will be put in place of a link that would be otherwise be broken, or a companion link to allow people to see what was originally intended by a page's authors.
This is a collection of web page captures from links added to, or changed on, Wikipedia pages. The idea is to bring a reliability to Wikipedia outlinks so that if the pages referenced by Wikipedia articles are changed, or go away, a reader can permanently find what was originally referred to.
10/27/2011:
I just got back from the grocery store and boy, do I have a tale to tell you guys. So I had finished searching
the aisles, collected all the items I needed and was making my way to the cashier. As I was standing in line,
most of the other shoppers were casting disturbed glances in my general direction. I thought nothing of it and
continued to go about my business and wait in line. It had come to my turn to checkout and as I started
moving the items from my basket onto the little treadmill for groceries, the cashier, (who was well over
40 years old, but still quite attractive for her age) gave me a fairly befuddled look and asked, "Sir, why are
you buying 29 sacks of potatoes?" I looked her
dead in the eye and told her "Ma'am, each one of the sacks represents a competitor in the Countdown Showdown on
October 29th in Reading, PA. And believe you me sweetheart, there ain't no better way to train for such an event
than to throw around these here sacks-a-patatas!"

For the next week of my life I will be doing nothing but hucking bags of potatoes over a fence, back and forth,
day and night, in the sun, in the rain, in the sleet, in the snow and come Countdown Showdown time, you better
belive that I'm gonna be ready, baby! You see, the last time "Da Jag-Man" was involved in a battle royal it was last summer, I made
it to the final two. And if it wasn't for Claudio Castagnoli distracting me after Shane And myself threw his
out-of-shape carcas over the top rope (and if it wasn't for Johnny Gargano throwing me over the top and both of my
feet toughing the hard, cold conrcrete floor) I woulda won the whole she-bang! (Get it?) and brought home the Bacon
to The Promised Land!!! This time around I plan on being in the final two again but this time with "Big Magic" at
my side. Once we clear house and launch everyone to the floor as a team and stand alone in that ring together
it'll be like Demolition in the Royal Rumble '89, every man for himself! And let me tell you, buddy, I got a
sack of potatoes with your name all over it!!!

Now that I've got that out of my system I want to take the time to wish everyone an early Happy Halloween!
Anyone who knows me knows that I am a huge fan of Halloween, that I love dressing up in crazy costumes and
embracing O' Hallows Eve. Batiri, I see that you're no different. I have to admit, I think your costumes are
really cool, I dig the look. But you're not the only ones who can pull off rad facepaint. Here are a few examples:
I'll let the CHIKARA fans decide who wins this battle of "Best Costume". But come October 30th, gentlemen, it
won't be the fans who decide who wins that battle, that vote goes to 3.0! And I'll give ya a little inside tip,
we're gonna vote for 3.0 to score big time as we Trick-or-Treat our way to a point and get back on the board!
