CORPORATE HEAD OFFICE

Meridian Hospitals is bounded in the North by Government Girls’ Secondary School, Oromenike, in the South by St. Thomas Anglican Church, Ikwerre Road, in the West by Olusegun Obasanjo Police Station and in the East by the Fruit Market, Kaduna Street.

This is our 3rd generation effort in the developmental history of the Meridian dream.  The 1st generation hospital began in 1996 in a rented apartment at 128 Ikwerre Road, Port Harcourt.  By 2003, the 2nd generation was developed with the acquisition of the front structure on 21 Igbokwe Street, a 2-Storey building which acted as the annex of the first project.

Over a period of 6 years, the 3rd generation, our dream facility was completed and launched.  It was designed to be and purpose-built as a hospital and it has made all the difference.  It is sitting on a ¾ Accre of land which has given the environment the spectacle of the corporate character with an impressive packing lot despite the massive building.

This 3-storey structure is 18meters in width and 55meters long.

ANNEX

What started as the only office in 1996 has by the reason of both structural and operational consideration become the annex of the hospital.  A relatively smaller house but also a 3-storey structure located at 128 Ikwerre Road, beside Zenith Bank Plc, near Ikoku Junction.

It houses doctors and nurses and maintains an equally excellent service standard.

The annex on a free road is a 60 seconds drive from the head office.  Both facilities are run by the same administrative structure and the objectives are the same. The facilities and services described above for the corporate headquaters are essentially also available at the Annex, making it run relatively independent of the other.
