Do an internet search for age of consent in Ohio. I believe it is 16. On the other hand you must do as your parents say until you are 18, and perhaps he could be charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Probably not. Minor errors on tickets generally do not result in dismissals. If the officer was far off on the height and weight, and the figures given are not what appear on your driver\'s license, and you didn\'t sign the ticket, you might have an issue with whether he actually gave it to you, but I suspect, as you have the ticket, that he did give it to you.
Q: Does a public school have the legal right to detain a person exiting the parking lot for more than 5 min?

This sounds a bit odd. Do you any idea of what the reason for delaying traffic is? Public schools can and do control the flow of traffic around the school at pick and drop off time, but I\'ve never heard of one delaying cars at the exit for no apparent reason. Usually, it is fairly obvious there are kids crossing or school buses being given priority.

You should sit down privately with an attorney specializing in employment litigation. This sounds like a potential law suit for what is known as a hostile work environment.

You are asking for an attorney to do research to find the case law on this particular subject. That is much more than legal advice. What you need to do is get a criminal defense attorney on your side, and then ask the attorney all of the questions that you have about your case.

You need a criminal defense attorney. She does not have to press charges, the prosecutor and the cops do that. Attorneys deal in facts and the law, and without the facts, we cannot apply the law or render an opinion. You gave no facts about the incident. Get counsel for this.

This sounds fishy. Typically, when one is called into court one receives a piece of paper from the court called a subpoena, not a phone call from child support. Contact the court they say you need to go to and ask what is going on.

Much depends on which court you are going to be in. Sometimes it is possible to avoid suspensions, sometimes not. You should probably get a lawyer to at least try. The explanation you\'ve giving isn\'t great. People slow down with cars behind them everyday without incident so the judge will likely think you should have slowed down.

Get your godson the help he needs from a psychiatrist. Don\'t try to force him into the juvenile system. First, you really can\'t do anything but report his misbehavior and see whether the police decide to do anything about it. Second, once he is in the system things are likely to get worse not better.

Probably not. H1-B Visas require a demonstration that you have some skill the employer needs and has trouble finding. Thus, you have to work in your field. Work as a mechanical engineer would work, but working in a store will not.

Tickets and warrants do not magically disappear when you turn. However, many judges lift old warrants from minor cases from time to time and simply send the ticket to a collection agency.

You are still married and need to get a divorce. Not all divorces are agreed upon. Hopefully, you know where to find your husband. File paperwork for a contested divorce. Getting an attorney would be a good idea.

Yes. Dissolution is merely a no-fault, agreed upon divorce proceeding. The requirements are: (1) jurisdiction and venue--at least one party must have resided in Ohio for the past six months or more and the dissolution must be filed in a court with jurisdiction over the place in which at least one party resides; (2) separation agreement--both parties must voluntarily agree to the dissolution and complete paper work outlining the distribution of property and parental rights and making provisions...
