Update 5/16/2015 Legendary classic rocker Gregg Allman has added 2015 "North American" Tour dates to his schedule. The tour is already in progress & scheduled to wrap with a concert in Saratoga Springs, NY at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (Saratoga PAC) on September 4th with the Doobie Brothers. More concert additions are possible. However, the table below reflects an accurate concert schedule of major North American venues concert dates & Gregg Allman concert tickets. The Doobie Brothers will join Allman on various dates of the tour. The Doobies released their "Southbound" album (tracklist below) [Buy Album] in November of last year. It features them singing their classic hits with other music superstars such as Brad Paisley & Toby Keith. The album reached #16 on the U.S. Billboard 200 & was voted "Album of the Month" on theboot.com.
Pat Simmons Jr. is slated to join the 2 bands for a concert on August 22nd in Gilford, NH at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion At Meadowbrook.
Update 1/31/2015 Former Allman Brothers Band co-founder/member and the one to coin the genre of "Southern Rock", Gregg Allman has released information reguarding a 2015 spring tour which is being called "An Evening With Gregg Allman" Tour. The tour will begin in Northfield, OH on March 13th at the Hard Rock Rocksino @ Northfield Park. Although changes are possible the tour is currently set to finish with a concert at the ACL Live At The Moody Theater in Austin, TX on May 9th. Stops for the tour include shows for the Wanee Music Festival (Live Oak, FL) & StageCoach Music Festival (Indio, CA).
Gregg Allman released his 11th studio album "Low Country Blues" (tracklist below) [Buy Album] on January 18, 2011. Although he has just finished up his first solo tour in promotion of the album he will likely continue promoting it throughout the new tour as well. He will likely also play a variety of fan favorites from throughout his solo career as well as his career with the Allman Brothers Band. Some Allman Brothers hits include "Midnight Rider" (from the "Idlewild South" album), "Whipping Post" (on multple albums) & "Ramblin' Man" (from the "Brothers and Sisters" album).
In May of 2014 the Gregg Allman tribute album "All My Friends: Celebrating The Songs & Voice Of Gregg Allman" (tracklist below) [Buy Album] was released. It is a 3 disc set of songs with other prominent artists such as Brantley Gilbert & Trace Adkins.
