Arkansas Questions & Answers
Q: What should I expect to happen when I go to court

What happens will depend on what your mother has to say to the prosecutor. You will have an initial court appearance called Plea and Arraignment, where you will enter a plea of guilty or not guilty. If you enter a plea of not guilty (which would be wise) you will then have a trial date set.
Q: So I have a petty theft charge for a misdemeanor, and this is my first offense.

Many things are possible, such as a pass to dismiss or a sentence under act 346, either would keep it off your record. A lot will depend on what the victim of the theft says to the prosecutor. You will want to speak with a criminal defense attorney about your case so they can advise you.
Q: Can an executor of a will sell land that is left to someone else before the writer of the will dies?

The uncle must have had a power of attorney. Before a testatrix such as your grandmother dies, her will is of no effect. So, as the person nominated as the executor in the will, the uncle would have had no power to convey any property. If, on the other hand, your grandmother also gave him a POA, or perhaps named him as trustee of a living trust, it would be another story.

Q: If insurance allotted $12,500 to fix my damaged car & it only cost $4,000 to repair, can my bank keep the excess money?
Answered on Nov 11, 2015
Q: Deflamation of Character

This is in the wrong forum. It is defamation not deflamation. And one big problem is that the person who did this is probably judgment proof. In other words she does not have much money. So, you would probably have to pay an attorney a lot to file a suit. What you have asked about is civil, not criminal.
Q: I think i may have provided false information in a hearing last month. If i go tell the judge, will i get arrested?

First of all, you cannot just go see the judge about this at all. The other side has to be present. Second, if you are truly concerned about this you will need to go see a private attorney for a full discussion.
