Q: If I am a U.S. Citizen and I marry an illegal from Nicaragua does he have to go back there before he can have his papers

She can probably hire a lawyer to bring a partition action. That basically means that yes, a judge can force you to sell the property and divide the proceeds according to the law in Kansas. How much has the property increased in value since you purchased it? Perhaps you should offer her one half of the increase in value since the purchase.
