The Gloria was a more luxurious version of the Skyline. It had a larger engine than the Skyline, using the 1862cc 80hp OHV 4cyl. GB-30 engine.

PRINCE� GLORIA� S40E�
(1963 Model)

The new Gloria was a much larger car, and was no longer based on the Skyline sedan. It was also the first 6 cylinder Prince. The S40 series had the 1988cc 106hp OHC 6cyl. G7 engine and was also available with a diesel engine. They had an independent front suspension and DeDion rear suspension. Available in 4 door sedan (S40) and 5 door wagon (W40). A base model Gloria was also available, fitted with the 1962cc 96hp. 4cyl. G-2 engine.

PRINCE� GLORIA� SUPER� 6� S44E�
(1964 Model)

The S44 series Gloria Super 6 had the 2494cc 134hp OHC 6cyl. G11 engine. Lather cars were sold as the Prince B250 or the PMC B250.

PRINCE� GLORIA� S41E�
(1965 Model)

The S41E series continued to use the 1988cc 106hp OHC 6cyl. G7 engine and was also available with a diesel engine. They had an independent front suspension and DeDion rear suspension. Available in 4 door sedan (S40) and 5 door wagon (W40). Later cars were sold as a Prince B200 or PMC B200.

NISSAN� GLORIA� PA30
(1968 Model)

The PA30 replaced the Prince Gloria S41E series. Powered initially by the 1988cc 106hp OHC 6cyl. engine from the previous model, it was later fitted with the Nissan L20A 1998cc 113hp. 6cyl. engine. It was available in a 4 door sedan and a 5 door wagon. This was the last 'stand alone' Gloria model, later cars to wear the Nissan Gloria name were just re-badged Nissan Cedrics with smaller engines.

DATSUN� LAUREL� 1800� C30�
(1968 Model)

It looks like a larger version of the Datsun P510 Bluebird 1600, but the C30 doesn't share one single part with the P510. Powered by the 1815cc 105hp OHC cross flow 4cyl. G18 engine. Sold as either the Datsun 1800 or the Nissan Laurel. Nissan concentrated on selling this car in Europe as it's main mid-sized family car instead of the P510, which was the big seller in the USA and Oceania areas.

NISSAN� PRINCE� ROYALE� S200 P-1
(1967 Model)

The Royale was a limousine purpose built for the Emperor of Japan and the royal family. Only 8 were ever built. They featured custom built 6373cc V8 engines that were machined from a solid block of steel.

CUTIE FACT - The old Prince factory is now a cult headquarters After the Renault/Nissan merger one of the first things the new President Carlos Ghosn did as part of his re-structuring of Nissan was to close down the Nissan plant at Murayama, which was the old Prince Motor Co. factory. In 2001 Nissan decided to divide the property. They kept part of it and built a massive Nissan showroom called the "Carest Murayama Megamall". This overgrown car yard features 100 different new models and 1,000 used cars, a parts and accessories store, a driving course, and customizing and repair shops, all in a 213,252 square foot facility with 500 parking spaces. According to Nissan, the mall occupies a space that is five times larger than the Tokyo Dome sports stadium. But if the ridiculously big car dealership isn't weird enough, Nissan has sold the rest of Murayama to a religious cult called Shinnyo-en, which is some sort of splinter Budhist group, where they plan to build their headquarters. To ease the concerns of the local community, Shinnyo-en, which was founded by a Buddhist preacher in 1936 and now has some 796,000 followers, plans to build nonreligious facilities, including parks and sports and cultural centers, on part of the 1 million square metre plot that it has bought from Nissan. To give you an idea about how the locals feel about having a one million square metre cult centre built in their neighbourhood, when Nissan announced that they were negotiating with Shinnyo-en, the locals petitioned Nissan suggesting that it should be sold for a more appealing purpose, such as factories or heavy industrial use. This has to be the only time in history that a community would rather have a noisy and polluting industrial centre than parks and cultural centres.
