TRAINING: Two training sessions a day - 10 to 12 AM (MMA skills + cardio workout) and 18 to 21 PM (boxing or MMA or BJJ sparring)

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started MMA at 18. I started two years later with my first amateur fight and I felt that I was made for it, so I pushed myself to improve my game and become better in order to turn pro.

What ranks and titles have you held? I'm the current EFC heavyweight world champion. I let my title go to get into the UFC. I’m ranked by the French media as the second best French fighter, just after Cheick Kongo. And I’m currently in the top 3 of European HW fighters.

Do you have any heroes? Not really....

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It’s a good way to beat the world’s best fighters.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I got my certification in France (same as college certification.)

What was your job before you started fighting? Police officer (special united group - CRS )

Ranks in any martial arts styles: Brown belt in BJJ (Checkmat / Bushido Academie), red belt in taekwondo
