Biography

TRAINING:
Wake up at 8:30am: pack gym bag, mix vitargo for during workout and protein drink for after workout. Eat oatmeal and watch CNN
- go to the gym at 10:00am for 10:30 practice. Warm up, train around 10:30-12:30pm, shower and head home
- get home and microwave lunch from lean and fit, turn on my hypoxico tent, get in there and nap/meditate from 2:00 - 4:00pm
-4pm - 5:30 I get out then clean the house/shop/cook/prepare food
- 5:45 head to gym again for mitts and conditioning/strategy/whatever the coaches want to do until 8pm
- 8:30 get home, eat dinner from fresh and lean, visit with wife, and watch TV
-10-11 go to bed

When and why did you start training for fighting?
I've been talking about MMA since I was in the seventh grade.  The first day I walked into Team Quest was the first day I started training full-time to become a pro fighter.

What ranks and titles have you held?
Sportfight, WEC, and Gladiator Challenge.

Do you have any heroes? No.

What is your favorite technique? Putting the stamp on kids!

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC?
It's a lifetime achievement. It's definitely one of my lifelong dreams coming true.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No.

What was your job before you started fighting? Painting and construction.
•    Five wins by submission, 12 wins by TKO or KO

•    Win over Akiyama was Leben’s second fight in two weeks. The win was also awarded Fight of the Night honors.

•    Five of last seven wins by KO

•    Owns pre-UFC knockout win over Mike Swick and TKO win over Benji Radach

•    Went 5-0 in first five post-TUF fights before being stopped by Anderson Silva in June of 2006; 7-9 since that fight
