Biography

TRAINING: A typical day in my training camp starts at 8am, when we have the first training session. After that, I have a strength and conditioning session at noon, and my last training session is at 7 pm. I have great people helping me for this fight and I have a great team.

When and why did you start training for fighting? Since I was a kid I always liked combat sports, and the first time I laid eyes on the UFC I fell in love with it. But it wasn’t until 2007 that I started training and it became my passion.

What ranks and titles have you held? I’ve won two national MMA championships: BFC & BJF

Do you have any heroes? My mother and grandfather

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means a lot – it’s a dream come true and a lot of hard work being rewarded.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Yes, still a year and a half to go - bio-pharmaceutical chemist

What was your job before you started fighting? Studied and worked at a restaurant

Favorite grappling technique: Triangle

Favorite Striking technique: Hook to the liver
