The Paper Chase
Like many student groups at Boalt Hall, Boalt.org collects student-developed outlines for its members. Of course, the outlines provided here are for educational purposes only and their use should comply with Boalt Hall's Academic Honor Code.

In the spirit of cooperation that sets Boalt Hall students apart from other law schools, Boalt.org requests your help in helping your fellow student. Outlines should be submitted in Microsoft Word format with the file name saved as follows: Class_Professor_YearSemester.

Numbering: Outlines are numbered basically in the order we get them. Outline #1 does not mean that it is more complete or accurate at all.

Formatting: Outlines are in MS Word format unless otherwise noted. Outlines in ZIP format include more than one document, and we've tried to note if PowerPoint (PPT), Excel, or other formats are included.

Viruses: We do scan all documents for viruses but that is only as good as our virus software. If viruses are a concern for you, you should have virus software of your own to check all material downloaded from the Internet.



Other Outline Banks (not affiliated with boalt.org)

Check with your journal or membership organization. Many student organizations have outline banks, either on their web-site or in hardcopy in the organization's office. Outline banks that are online are often password-protected, as a member benefit. Westlaw and Lexis have a few commercial outlines available.
