Biography

TRAINING: I train twice a day. The morning session is at 10 am and it is mostly technique. My evening sparring session is at 8:30 pm. This time we brought tallest Polish fighters to help me prepare for Struve.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started to train Karate at the age of seven for two years. Then kickboxing and Muay Thai. In 2005 I started with MMA. I always wanted to do fight sports after I saw the movie “American Ninja.”

What ranks and titles have you held? Three-time Polish Muay Thai Champion, Superheavyweight Polish Champion Wushu (Sanda), Heavyweight European MMA Champion Bushido FC, two-time MMA Tournament Champion in Ukraine

Do you have any heroes? Cain Velasquez because of his style. Igor Vovchanchyn

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? My dream as a fighter and athlete came true.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I went to College and have a bachelor degree in tourism. Right now I am finishing my master studies.

What was your job before you started fighting? I helped my mother on the farm.

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? Polish Amateur MMA CUP winner, and title of best fighter of the tournament
