About the Sculptor
The Satellite Award Statuette
Ante Marinovic, world renowned sculptor and designer of the Satellite Statue, was born on the island of Korcula in an Adriatic fishing town called Vale Luka, Croatia. He graduated from the School of Applied Arts in Split, Croatia. He also completed advanced courses for his degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade, Serbia.
