Michigan Questions & Answers
Q: I want to rent out my motorcycle and ensure that I am not liable for the renter's injury/death. How do I do this?

In most States, there is a dangerous instrumentality type of law which makes the owner of a motor vehicle / motorcycle liable for the negligent acts of the driver / operator. You definitely want to make sure there is plenty of insurance that is in place. Another option may be to have the motorcycle titled in the name of a corporation or LLC. It may be quite challenging to absolutely get rid of all potential of risks or lawsuits. Consult with your insurance company and potentially a...
Q: I am looking for help for my husband. We have been married for 13 years

The stated facts create a complex case, and are insufficient to provide legal advice.
You should sit down with an "experienced immigration" attorney, who will investigate the facts and counsel you with solution for your case. Most careful and liable attorneys would not respond to complex cases questions without understanding specific facts. Good luck. www.aba-us.com
Q: If I injure someone in an accident and get sued for more than my insurance coverage can I lose my properties even if my

If they get a judgment in excess of your policy limits, they can go after your assets. They would most likely not be able to foreclose on your real property due to multiple owners, but they could place a lien on them for when they are sold. A bankruptcy may be of some use to you if it gets that far.
Of course, it is unlikely you will get that far, as most attorneys will stop at the policy limits due to the difficulty of collecting personal assets. I would suggest speaking with your...

Q: My employer requires me to take a 30 minute lunch break after working 6 hours. Some days they don't give me that break

You might consider reporting them to your state's department of labor. After that, you can guarantee you will be a whistle blower, making it stupid for them to fire you or do anything similar.
Q: for a copyright loophole, could i just say "i do not like this song" and then it would be considered criticism?

Most likely not. Your contribution needs to be transformative, or truly criticism (and you could not just post a video of someone else's song and then at the end say you don't like it, as you did not need to post any of the song to tell people that).
Q: My daughter will be turning 18 by the end of the year. Can child support be modified after 18? She'll be living with me

If she still has not graduated from high school, he will still have to pay child support. If she lives with you 100% of the time, you will be entitled to more child support.
Q: Domestic Violence an child abuse as retaliation to a child custody case.

You need an experienced criminal defense attorney now. The prosecutors determined there is enough for a warrant. An attorney will be able to discuss the details of the case and sequence of events with the prosecutor, and attempt to get the case dismissed.
Q: Who do i notify im moving to michigan frm indiana if ive got joint but not physical custody? Do i need courts ok

Which ever court holds your current custody order will have to approve any move out of state.
Q: I need land transferred from my deceased father into my name. I am his only child.
Answered on Feb 23, 2016

You will most likely have to open an estate, become the personal representative for the estate, then execute documents to transfer ownership of the land. You should consult with an experienced probate attorney in your area to discuss all the options in detail.
Q: What to do if I have warrants but don't want to face any jail time because I am pregnant?

You need to contact an experienced criminal defense attorney in your area. They can review your case with you, contact the court and the prosecutor to determine the charges and the warrants. They can also coordinate a time for you to turn yourself in and be arraigned (if this is coordinated, you will spend less time in jail).

Q: My nephew joined the marines and currently serving. Can he petition for my sister and his dad under the "parole in place

I filed a parole in place and got it approved. The USC husband was in the military and the wife entered the U.S. unlawfully. The parole in place only deals with the unlawful entry, NOT any unlawful presence that would have accrued. You need to speak with an attorney who has gotten PIP approvals. I could handle this matter if the parties qualify.
